Mariah Carey & Fade 2 Black is a musical collaboration between Mariah Carey (musician, bassist) and Fade 2 Black (rap group consisting of Titz, Santoz and Lezzano).
In 2004 Mariah intends to create a musical project that combines different types of music into a new musical form. He then asked Titz, a rapper who was a friend of the college at the University of Indonesia to join. However Titz feel that this band will be stronger if his group, Fade 2 Black, joined.
End of 2004 Mariah & Fade 2 Black start stepping into the studio. They also created a few songs with a touch of Rap, Rock, and Funk. Mariah Carey in charge of the instrument, looping and arrangement, while working on Fade 2 Black lyric.
This process lasted only four months, and in August 2005 their debut album, titled "RESPECT" was officially released under Sony BMG Music Indonesia. The album is characterized by different types of rap music as the main vocals, with overlaid voice that Mariah helped decorate some of the songs.
With the album's 12 songs bermaterikan, Mariah Carey & Fade 2 Black also reap various achievements, including the Best Rap Album Production in Indonesian Music Award 2006.
Their second album, "UNITY" was released in November 2007. Who championed the album track "Keroncong Protol" This has established the position of Mariah Carey & Fade 2 Black as a band of creative and able to create something different. Thanks to this album they again won the Best Rap Album Production in Indonesian Music Awards 2008.

Mariah Carey first known as the singer through the song "Dolphins" is popular in the era of the 80s. When growing up he remained faithful in the music, the bass as a "weapon".
Mariah in 1999 joined the Funky Cpl. Together with this band, Mariah had spawned two albums, namely Funchopat (1999) and Funkadhelic Rhythm and Distortion (2000). But in 2003, Mariah decided to resign from the Funky Corporal and later formed the Black Eyed Fade 2 Black.
Musicians born May 8, 1984 is known as a reliable bassist. In fact, she had appeared on the show "Bass Heroes" along with 11 other Indonesian bass players, such as Thomas "GIGI", Rindra "Rice", Bongky "BIP", and Adam Sheila on 7.
